3 rumah di Kumelembuai Atas terbakar, 4 motor dan cengkih ikut ludes
Kebakaran yang menghanguskan rumah Desa Kumelembuai Atas.
MINSEL, BERITASULUT.CO.ID – Peristiwa kebakaran terjadi di Desa Kumelembuai Atas, Kecamatan Kumelembuai, Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan (Minsel), pada Minggu 30 Desember 2018 hari ini.
Peristiwa kebakaran yang terjadi sekitar Pukul 11.00 Wita, menimpah 3 rumah masing-masing milik Keluarga Pongantung-Rasu, Wungow-Kereh, dan Mongkareng-Saroinsong, tepatnya di depan GMIM Exodus Kumelembuai Atas.
Dari informasi yang diberikan Camat Kumelembuai, Michael Kamang Waworuntu, peristiwa tersebut terjadi atau berlangsung begitu cepat.
“Cepat, kurang lebih 30 menit api melahap rumah warga.Kebakaran menyebabkan 2 rumah ludes terbakar, 1 rumah separuh terbakar. Pemadaman dilakukan oleh masyarakat sehingga berhasil memadamkan api dan tidak menyebar ke rumah lain,” ungkap Waworuntu.
Adapun penyebab kebakaran tersebut masih diduga karena korsleting listrik. Beruntung tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa itu.
Untuk kerugian ditaksir mencapai ratusan juta rupiah. Pasalnya selain rumah, beberapa aset lainnya ikut terbakar, di antaranya 4 motor terbakar.
“Dan kerugian material lainnya yang ikut terbakar yakni cengkih, surat-surat penting, jualan warung dan perabotan rumah terbakar,” ujarnya.
Dikatakan Waworuntu, saat ini Forkompica Kecamatan Kumelembuai, petugas Damkar Satpol-PP Minsel, Pemerintah Desa Kumelembuai Atas bersama masyarakat sementara melakukan tindakan penanggulangan pasca bencana dibantu pihak PLN dalam menangani arus listrik.(*)
