GMB Kecamatan Paaldua, olahraga sekaligus sosialisasi program Walikota
GMB Kecamatan Paaldua di halaman kantor Lurah Dendal.
MANADO, BERITASULUT.CO.ID – Gerakan Manado Bugar (GMB) se-Kota Manadk kembali digelar Jumat (15/03/2019) pagi tadi. Untuk Kecamatan Paaldua, kali ini digelar di halaman Kantor Lurah Dendengan Dalam (Dendal), Jl Pingkan Matindas, dipimpin langsung Camat Glennstiano Kowaas SH MH.
Warga mulai antusias mengikuti kegiatan tersebut, berbaur dengan pemerintah kecamatan dan kelurahan.
“Ini kegiatan yang bagus, disamping kita olahraga bersama, kesempatan kita juga menyampaikan program-program Walikota Manado,” ujar Camat Glenn Kowaas.
Semua semangat mengikuti senam yang diarahkan instruktur yang telah disiapkan Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dispora) Kota Manado selaku penggagas kegiatan.
Warga berharap kegiatan ini menjadi rutin dilakukan. “Sering-sering jo kwa beking kegiatan ini. Bagus. Selain olahraga, torang juga bisa bakudapa satu kecamatan,” ujar warga yang ikut GMB.
Sementara itu, Kadispora Laurens Umboh SIP mengatakan, kegiatan ini akan berakhir Juli 2019 mendatang. Hanya saja akan dievaluasi kedepannya, jika antusias masyarakat sangat tinggi maka akan terus dilaksanakan setiap Jumat.
GMB ini bebas untuk masyarakat yang ingin bergabung berolahraga di masing-masing kecamatan. Jenis-jenis olahraha yang akan ditampilkan di antaranya senam poco poco, senam zumba, senam kesehatan jasmani, jalan sehat dan bersepeda.
“GMB intinya olahraga rekreasi. Jenis olahraga sudah ditentukan. Namun kalau ada olahraga lain dari masyarakat dipersilahkan,” ujar Kadis Laurens Umboh, seraya memastikan kegiatan serupa kembali digelar Jumat pekan depan.
Kegiatan yang dilakukan setiap hari Jumat ini rencananya digelar hingga Juli 2019 mendatang, bertepatan dalam rangka HUT Kota Manado.(DONWU)
