Walikota GSVL dorong TP-PKK Manado perkuat Dasa Wisma
Walikota Manado GS Vicky Lumentut saat membawakan sambuta dalam rapat TP-PKK Manado.
MANADO, BERITASULUT.CO.ID – Walikota Manado DR GS Vicky Lumentut (GSVL) berharap kepada Tim Penggerak (TP) PKK Kota Manado agar terus memperkuat Dasa Wisma, sebuah kelompok ibu berasal dari 10-20 KK (kepala keluarga) rumah yang bertetangga untuk mempermudah jalannya suatu program.
Hal itu dikatakannya saat membawakan sambutan dalam rapat pemantapan program TP-PKK Kota Manado tahun 2019 ini, bertempat di Ruang Serbaguna Kantor Walikota, Jl Balaikota Tikala, Kamis (04/04/2019) siang tadi.
“Pemerintah memberikan apresiasi kepada TP-PKK Kota Manado yang menggelar kegiatan ini. Sehingga lewat forum ini kita dapat memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat ketika kita akan turun ke lapangan nanti, termasuk kita memperkuat Dasa Wisma di tingkat lingkungan, sesuai dengan program TP-PKK Kota Manado bersama pemerintah kota,” ujar Walikota GSVL.
Dirinya berharap, kedepan nanti lewat Dasa Wisma yang beranggotan 10-20 KK dapat diarahkan pada peningkatan kesehatan keluarga ataupun kegiatan lainnya yang bermanfaat bagi keluarga, termasuk kewaspadaan dan kesiapsiagaan dini di masyarakat terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya penyakit dan masalah-masalah kesehatan yang akan mengancam dan merugikan masyarakat yang bersangkutan.
“Di sini, Dasa Wisma sebagai salah satu wadah kegiatan masyarakat memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan program-program kegiatan gerakan PKK yang nantinya akan berpengaruh pula pada kegiatan bermasyarakat,” tukas Walikota GSVL.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut juga, Walikota juga menyampaikan kembali tentang visi Kota Manado yakni Manado Kota Cerdas 2021, dimana kota yang telah memaksimalkan program-program kota menuju kota layak huni, efesien dan berkesinambungan serta berwawasan lingkungan atau green bassed environment sering disebut kota cerdas atau the smart city.
Rapat pemantapan program TP-PKK Manado ini dipimpin langsung Ketua Prof DR Julyeta PA Lumentut-Runtuwene MS DEA, diikuti jajaran pengurus tingkat Kota, Kecamatan dan Kelurahan, dihadiri Ketua Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kota Manado Anie Lakat-Mailoor SE bersama jajaran.(DONWU)
