Urai kemacetan di Manado, Pemkot siapkan CCTV pantau kendaraan

MANADO, BERITASULUT.CO.ID — Dalam upaya penanganan kemacetan di Kota Manado, Pemkot Manado melalui Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) terus melakukan penindakan berupa sanksi penggembosan ban dan derek bagi kendaraan yang sengaja parkir di sembarangan tempat.

Namun upaya tersebut belum juga membuat jera bagi kendaraan baik roda empat maupun roda dua. Oleh karena itu, melalui Cerdas Command Center (C3) dengan bantuan pantauan CCTV (Closed Circuit Television), akan dimaksimalkan sistem control ‘detector’ untuk kendaraan yang parkir sembarangan.

“Melalui CCTV, akan dikembangkan aplikasi detector guna meminimalisir kemacetan yang sebabkan parkir liar. Aplikasi ini sistem kerjanya yaitu mendeteksi sejumlah area yang sudah diblok dalam jangkauan CCTV, bila ada kendaraan yang parkir lebih dari tiga menit, maka aplikasi tersebut akan memberikan signal ke C3. Dari situ C3 akan meneruskan pesan ke Dinas Perhubungan yang selanjutkan untuk pengambilan tindakan tegas,” ujar Wakil Walikota Mor Dominus Bastiaan.

Dikatakannya, aplikasi tersebut sementara dikembangkan dan dalam waktu dekat akan selesai.

Sementara itu Kadishub Kota Manado M Sofyan mengatakan, aplikasi yang sudah dirapatkan dengan pimpinan sangatlah baik karena membantu pihaknya bisa bekerja maksimal. “Soal parkir liar petugas lapangan dapat terbantu dengan adanya aplikasi tersebut,” ujarnya, Kamis 15 Februari 2018.(DONWU)
