Bahkan, dikatakan Kepala Dinas Perhubungan (Kadishub) Kota Manado, M Sofyan, penindakan berupa pengempesan ban kendaraan sudah mulai berkurang.
“Sepertinya efek jera yang diberlakukan Dishub Manado mulai ada. Memang betul, laporan dari anggota Dishub yang bertugas di jalan bahwa kegiatan pengempesan mulai berkurang karena mulai terlihat tertib,” ujarnya, Kamis 29 Maret 2018.
Kondisi tersebut, lanjut dia, menunjukkan bahwa warga pengguna jalan di Kota Manado mulai menyadari akan pentingnya menaati aturan lalu lintas. “Tampaknya banyak warga yang mulai menyadari bahwa parkir di tempat terlarang dan di atas trotoar menyalahi aturan,” katanya.
Terus berkurangnya penindakan pengempesan ban yang mengindikasikan makin tingginya kesadaran berlalu lintas sesuai aturan, kata dia, juga dipengaruhi keaktifan petugas Dishub untuk turun ke lapangan, memantau serta mensosialisasikan secara baik tentang Perwako Nomor 4 Tahun 2018.
“Saya berharap warga pengguna jalan agar mematuhi aturan yang dibuat. Jangan memarkir kendaraan di tempat yang dilarang, karena petugas Dishub akan mengambil tindakan sesuai aturan yang telah dibuat,” pungkasnya.(DONWU)
