MANADO, BERITASULUT.CO.ID – Perusahaan Daerah (PD) Pasar Kota Manado terus berbenah di berbagai sisi. Baik dari transparansi keuangan hingga pembenahan di pasar itu sendiri. Salah satunya adalah kebersihan pasar.
Di berbagai kesempatan, Direktur Operasional (Dirops) PD Pasar Kota Manado Juniffer Kaparang SIP memimpin langsung kerja bakti membersihkan pasar. Seperti yang dilakukan di pasar rakyat atau pasar tradisional Bersehati Calaca, Selasa (02/04/2019) hari ini.
“Kerja bakti membersihkan pasar tak hanya dilakukan oleh pegawai PD Pasar, tapi juga bekerjasama dengan Dinas Damkar (Pemadam Kebakaran) untuk menyemprot becek agar bersih,” ujar Kaparang.
Kebersihan dan kenyamanan pasar rakyat sudah menjadi penegasan Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) saat memberikan penghargaan kepada pelaku pasar rakyat yang telah direvitalisasi, (12/3/2019) lalu, salah satunya kepada PD Pasar Kota Manado.
Dalam acara tersebut, Presiden Jokowi mengatakan bahwa pasar yang disukai konsumen adalah yang memiliki fasilitas, nyaman, bersih dan tidak bau. Jika dapat memenuhi kriteria itu, tegas dia, maka tentunya akan tetap menarik konsumen untuk berbelanja di pasar tradisional.
“Pak Presiden berpesan agar pasar itu yang nyaman dan bersih, tidak bau, jadi konusmen mau beli di situ. Jadi kebersihan pasar itu selalu menjadi prioritas kami,” ujar Direktur Utama (Dirut) PD Pasar Stenly Suwuh.(DONWU)
