SEMARANG, BERITASULUT.CO.ID – Walikota Manado DR GS Vicky Lumentut (GSVL) dan Ketua TP-PKK Kota Manado Prof DR Ir Julyeta PA Runtuwene MS DEA, menghadiri hajatan “Malam Bakudapa Kawanua Sulut” yang digelar Mapalus Maesa Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Selasa (02/07/2019) malam.
Kegiatan yang digelar di MG Setos Hotel Semarang, dihadiri ratusan masyarakat diaspora asal Sulut yang sudah menetap dan tinggal di Kota Semarang dan sekitarnya.
Suasana Sulut begitu terasa ketika alunan lagu daerah seperti lagu Opo Wananatase yang diiringi alunan musik Kolintang, menjadi lagu pembuka dalam kegiatan itu. Suasana semakin meriah dan penuh keakraban dengan nuansa kekeluargaan sesama orang Sulut.
Walikota GSVL berterimakasih dan bangga karena dapat bertatap muka dengan Kawanua di Kota Semarang. Dan kesempatan itu dimanfaatkannya untuk mensosialisasikan pelaksanaan iven Manado Fiesta 2019, yang akan digelar 27 Juli – 4 Agustus mendatang.
“Iven ini tahun ini sudah ketiga kalinya digelar. Marijo pulang kampung, torang kase rame ini Manado Fiesta 2019, torang pe pesta. Marijo Ka Manado,” ajak Walikota GSVL yang disambut tepukan tangan meriah.
Sementara itu, Ketua Mapalus Maesa Kota Semarang Berty Sumampouw, pada kesempatan yang sama menyampaikan banyak terimakasih atas kesediaan Walikota GSVL dan isteri bersama rombongan, yang telah dalam acara yang sangat langka ini.
“Makase Pak Walikota dan ibu bersama rombongan yang telah hadir bersama kami masyarakat Kawanua di Kota Semarang. Tentu ini merupakan apresiasi dan perhatian yang besar dari Pak Walikota. Dan kerinduaan kami untuk bertatap muka bersama putra terbaik Tanah Minahasa yang saat ini diberikan mandat masyarakat Manado sebagai Walikota,” ujar Sumampouw.
Kawanua Semarang pun menyambut baik ajakan Walikota GSVL untuk menghadiri Manado Fiesta 2019.
“Puji Tuhan dalam suasana yang penuh keakraban dan kekeluargaan ini torang orang Manado di Kota Semarang bole bakudapa dengan Pak Wali bersama Ibu, terimakasih so datang di Semarang, dan sudah memberikan motifasi pa torang di sini, sukses for Pemkot Manado dan agenda Manado Fiesta 2019,” ujar Sumampouw.(DONWU)
