Walikota Manado GS Vicky Lumentut dan Wakil Walikota Manado Mor Bastiaan.

MANADO, BERITASULUT.CO.ID – Rangkian kegiatan Manado Fiesta 2019 (MF19) resmi berakhir dengan dibubarkannya panitia penyelenggara, oleh Walikota Manado DR GS Vicky Lumentut (GSVL), di Godbless Park atau Taman Berkat, Jln Piere Tendean Boulevard, Jumat (23/8/2019) sore hingga malam.

Kegiatan diawali dengan doa oleh Ketua BKSUA Kota Manado Pdt Roy Lengkong STh. Dilanjutkan dengan penyerahan Laporan Kegiatan Pelaksanaan Manado Fiesta 2019 dalam bentuk buku dari Ketua Umum Panitia Coreta Kapoyos kepada Walikota GSVL.

Walikota Manado GS VIcky Lumentut membawakan sambutan sekaligus membubarkan panitia.

Walikota pun mengucap syukur kepada Tuhan yang Maha Eas karena Manado Fiesta 2019 yang digelar 27 Juli hingga 4 Agustus bisa terselenggara dengan baik dan sukses. Iven akbar promosi pariwisata itu mengusung dua konsep, yakni konsep kerukunan dalam rumah besar keberagaman, suku, agama, ras dan budaya, serta konsep Bunaken. Sebuah konsep yang mewakili realitas dan potensi lokal keindahan alam, sebuah potret kehidupan sehari-hari pemerintah dan masyarakat Ibukota Nyiur Melambai ini.

“Harapan kami, Manado Fiesta 2019 akan memberikan dampak positif bagi kemajuan pariwisata di Kota Manado, Sulawesi Utara bahkan Indonesia secara menyeluruh. Di tahun ketiga penyelenggaraan Manado Fiesta yang digelar secara berturut-turut selang tiga tahun, diharapkan masuk dalam kalender iven pariwisata Nasional dari Kementerian Pariwisata. Menjadi agenda tetap dan berkelanjutan setiap tahunnya,” ujar Walikota GSVL.

Walikota Manado GS VIcky Lumentut menerima buku Laporan Kegiatan dari Ketum Panitia Coreta Kapoyos.

Walikota GSVL mengatakan, pemerintah dan masyarakat Kota Manado bisa berbangga karena Manado Fiesta mendapat apresiasi dari berbagai pihak. Iven ini populer di mesia sosial, menjadi trending topic baik di google dan youtube selama berlangsungnya kegiatan dan menjadi viral di dunia maya.

“Suksesnya Manado Fiesta adalah buah dari komitmen dan kerja keras serta doa kita semua, tidak hanya jajaran Pemerintah Kota Manado dan Panitia Penyelenggara, namun berkat topangan rakyatku, warga Kota Manado yang dikenal dengan Kota Toleran dan Kota Doa ini,” ujar Walikota GSVL.

Walikota Manado GS VIcky Lumentut dan Ketum Panitia Coreta Kapoyos memberikan hadiah sepeda kepada orang yang mentato tubuhnya dengan tuliasn Manado Fiesta.

Walikota visioner ini kemudian memberikan peribahsa “Tak Ada Gading yang Tak Retak”. Dikatakanya, masih ada sejumlah catatan di balik kesukseskan Manado Fiesta 2019. Sejumlah kekurangan menjadi pekerjaan rumah yang harus diperbaiki demi gelaran Manado Fiesta edisi berikut yang lebih baik. Masukan dan kritik membangun akan diterima dengan lapang dada.

“Akhir kata, saya Walikota GS Vicky Lumentut bersama Wakil Walikota Mor Bastiaan dan Sekda Micler CS Lakat, juga Ketua Panitia Coreta Kapojos. Atas nama Pemerintah Kota Manado, panitia dan masyarakat, dengan mengucap syukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, kami mengucapkan terimakasih kepada kepada Gubernur Sulut Olly Dondokambey dan Wakil Gubernur Sulut Steven Kandouw, yang telah mendukung dengan menghadiri langsung di acara pembukaan Manado Fiesta 2019 lalu. Serta kepada pihak TNI/Polri, BKSUA, FKUB, serta seluruh masyarakat Kota Manado, yang telah memberi dukungan untuk suksesnya pelaksanaan Manado Fiesta 2019,” ungkap Walikota GSVL.

Bakar-bakar ikan jadi menu penutup pembubaran Panitia MF19

Bakar-bakar ikan menjadi bagian dari acara pembubaran Panitia Manado Fiesta 2019.

Sebelumnya, aktivitas bakar-bakar ikan menjadi bagian dari rangkaian pembubaran panitia. Ada puluhan tempat bakar ikan yang disiapkan oleh beberapa Perangkat Daerah dan Kecamatan. Beragam jenis ikan pun menjadi sajian di kegiatan tersebut.

Sejumlah pejabat, panitia hingga masyarakat berbaur dalam kegiatan yang penuh keakraban tersebut. Menu ikan bakar dengan berbagai jenis sambal jadi santapan enak pengunjung.

Walikota GSVL berterima kasih atas partisipasi semua pihak, baik pemerintah, swasta, maupun masyarakat yang telah menyukseskan Manado Fiesta 2019, termasuk kegiatan terakhir di acara pembubaran panitia.

“Makase kawan-kawan yang sudah ikut ambil bagin di acara pembubaran panitia ini,” ujar Walikota GSVL.(LIPSUS)
